‍ Workshop 10/24

“Restore Your Core and Pelvic Floor through Breathing” lead by Allison Starr

What if everything you’ve been taught about your core missed a fundamental principle? Your breathing.

In this workshop, you’ll restore your core and pelvic floor through your breathing. Then it’s strong and steady all the time, not just when you’re doing Pilates.

In this workshop we will unpack: How perimenopause and menopause change your core and pelvic floor, how breathing resolves pelvic floor dysfunction, and what to do differently if you’ve had a hysterectomy.

The first part of the workshop will be lecture with slides, followed by a short Breathing for Core practice, and then wrapping up with Q&A.

If you have pelvic floor dysfunction, leakage, low back pain, SI instability, or core always feels confusing, this workshop will give you the missing link plus practical tools for getting it and keeping it in your body.

‍Join Us April 2027

Coming April 2027, we will host our Health + Wellness Summit, which brings together practitioners and resources for women to find connection, understanding, and support.

We will also perform our evening length work “Musing on Menopause” as we use dance to explore the physical and cognitive shifts of perimenopause and menopause, along with the confusing and often predatory wellness culture that surrounds this stage of life with humor and authenticity.
